you all might remember if youve been around a while

my old quest to have flames coming out the tailpipes. ive found a kit finally and just recently stumbled upon a person who has done this before and succeeded, i need to talk to them about it more. but its sounding very very cheap. using all junkyard parts. ill keep you all informed on progress with this one, especially if i catch my car on fire.

heres the recepie as i was sorta told in 5 min.

windsheild washer pump. coupla coils, some plugs, switch, no cat, washer spray nozzles. something to act as a distrubutor to break the current to plugs therefor causing spark, this kid used the switch it was s momentary, so you just had to push it a bunch of times. i dont like that idea. anyway, you sorta arm the system by having the nozzles spray raw fuel into the tailpipes right outside of the muffler, then shut em off. the liquid fuel wont last long in the pipes but it will be turning to fumes real fast cuz of hot exhaust, rev the motor, hit spark switch and watch a poof of flames. i dont think you want the sparks going while injectors are firing from a little bottle connected to your new junkyard windsheild pump. that might go big boom = bad and tears.

also wouldnt have flame throwing effect lasting more than a second or two. cuz it should blow it self out. i think you would want your tailpipe past the bumper, mine are and they are pointing straight out not down to the ground.

this should not be tried at home. without the supervision of a trained profesional. yadayadayada. you probably see im posting a lot. ive just been thinking a lot tonight for some reason. i usualy try not to think at all.

happy posting and responding. lata

We are gonna need pics if u do this Nic. When u take a picture, u should put something behind the pipes to set on fire. That would be coooool.

I have have heard of similar ideas, and I want to do this so bad. I want to hook it up some how, so it will shoot a flame when you tromp on it. That way, you are moving and there is no chance of it burning up your back bumper.

Hell, my exhaust is so fuel rich right now, I could probably get flames to shoot 10 ft! Not really, but I bet it is rich enough to catch fire.
