TBI Intake
TBI Intake
It's for a truck - sorry about that, but I'm not getting any help elsewhere, so I thought someone here would know.
I have a cast iron intake on my 90 Suburban 350. A guy will give me an aluminum one that he took off his 93 Suburban.
Is this a better flowing manifold? Is it worth the time to swap it out?
Thanks

Is it a stock aluminum intake? I don't know if they came stock with them but if they did then NO NO. It's just as bad, if it's an aftermarket like edelbrock then I'd say it might be worth it. The first thing I would do with a burban is exhaust. My dad had a 87 for the longest time, he just got rid of it and got a 95 (when they changed to new interior design). The 87 was quick, had smaller tired and boy could that thing get up and go. I know that edelbrock claims a 1 second off your 0-60 so first thing would be headers.
