To save you and others time The TBi manifold it one of the worst ones out there. It will make some diff. but not as much as others like torker II and so on. Am I right guys?!

I am not nj speeder but I will still reply.
Before I put on the edelbrock tbi manifold I had a full exhaust, chip, msd ignition, and ult. tbi mods. After installing it, my ET's dropped about .20 and I gained 3mph in the 1/4 mi. On a stock engine I don't know how much it will help but it sure helped me, moving the power band down alittle to where I feel it in everyday driving.

The intake isn't made just to swap on with no other mods. It was designed to go with Edelbrocks power package, which for a 305 includes the intake and a cam. They work together.

i did the intake along with the heads and the 1.6 rockers. i knocked a full sec off of my ets and added about 4 mph to my trap speeds. i have seen other people use just the intake by itself and pick up a couple tenths and add between 1 and 1.5 mph. the big gain was the throttle response, it became a lot more snappy than stock.
i am avoiding going to a single plane as long as i can. i like having the power band as low in the rpm band as possible. the big test of the performer tbi will be when i change cams. with the stocker still in place i think the torquer would be a waste, too much volume, not enough velocity. at least that is what the math i have done is telling me.
