Hey guys,
I'm definetly going to buy a fuel pressure shut off/safety switch for my nitrous install. What I don't know is what pressure I need to buy. They're non-adjustable and increase from increments of 5psi-80psi or so. So basically, what's the minimum pressure I should be running a 125 shot at on a 305 w/ stock TBI unit?

well i dont know all that much about setting up nos but if i were you id run an FP gauge on there and just see what the FP drop is normally just doing a regular WOT run it can be like 1.5 psi in some cases

find out what that is and then get something just below that so the thing doesnt cut you off on a normal run

Yeah....I knew that's what's best for me to do......but I wanted to see if I could cheat and have someone tell me.

 

I am running @ 12 p.s.i / timing @ 6*. I am also using stock chip. Its all trial and error brother. Be cautious of lean conditons and let the minnie mouse warm up before ya juice her. I replaced iac valve as well. Do you have the bottlewarmer? Makes a big difference. happy hunting
