I thought it was funny. I realize if this recieves alot of posts it will be locked. No problem JPrevost, just wanted to add my .02,
Oh yeah, I have a 305 tbi and everynow and then there is a funny knocking sound. It doesn't do it all the time I have been told it is the smog pump, is this true??

 

Idea: Post reply's after you have writen something TECH, not air cleaner wing nut tech. Just stick in you sig for a while and whenever you reply to a tech question tell them to check your the quote in your sig. It's really that easy
As for the knocking, if you're serious I have never heard about it. If it bothers you then take it off and drive around a while. Please tell me if you're serious or not because I can't tell.

It does "knock" every now and then. I will remove the pump and drive it around awhile. I will let you know in another post if that cures it or not. Oh yeah the sig thing, thanks
