Anyone know a good cleaner or a good way to safely clean a tbi?

 

carb cleaner. same stuff does the trick. just be carefull of tps sensor and iac.

 

Use two bottles of STP concentrated fuel injector cleaner to ALMOST a full tank of gas.If this does'nt cure your woes replace the injectors(I recommend 350 pickup injectors,they flow more and will sustain later upgrades[such as a cam or intake]).

 

I got some 350 injectors from Auto Zone for $160.

 

Oh yeah, Valvoline makes some that may not do a better job of removing crap than the others, but the spray nozzle is very adjustable and alot easier to use than the usual type.
