oil leak
Where is the oil pressure sending unit located on an L05?
Im getting an oil leak from somewhere near the back of the motor, I pulled the distbutor again and it looked like it might of been leaking from there, the gasket the felpro kit supplied looked aweful thin, so I used copper RTV on the gasket. Im still leaking. I hope this aint the china wall!
I used the same copper RTV on the china wall, I did a good job, the intake wasnt shifted any. I dropped it right where it needed to be. Is the copper high temp RTV no good for such an application? Ive always had good luck with it before on other vehicles doing intakes and valve covers.
Damn Im gonna get good at tearing these things down.

The sender should be near the rear of the motor right above the china wall, or integrated into the pressure switch above the oil filter, depending on the year.
