Is it worth using a Edelbrock TBI intake???

Is there much of a difference in throttle response with this intake over the stock one??? What about 0 to 60 mph hour changes???? Who is running one of these??? Was it worth the change on a stock motor, with just Cold air package, and full 3 inch exhaust???? What by the way is a good price to pay for one???? If not this intake, do you guy recommend any other brand??? Or at this point should I look into something else??? You know how it is about wanting to change the intake..(We all like to do it) Thanks for any suggestions on this, Tom

I did the swap on a 88 pickup with a Lo3 and was a substantial improvement. I don't have any 0-60 times but throttle response and overall performance was increased. No problems with the swap, just bolts right in.

It is not worth it on a stock engine. You need to spend your money on headers and DIY tuning before you spend it on an intake. As your motor sits right now the intake is way behind on the list of bottlenecks that need to be replaced.

I had one of these on my car when it was TBI and it worked well. Mine is one of the early versions with the removeable torque tubes that allowed you to boost low end torque or help the midrange. The ones made now don't have this option.
