hypertech

can i install the hypertech fan switch without the thermomaster? i would use the jet, but i want the Hypertech one that turns on at 186 and off at 176? the guy at jegs told me that i couldnt because of closed loop open loop, i dont know.anything will help.

racing more than daily driving. sure go ahead. otherwise. there isnt much power to gain, and its a pain in the ace. you would be happier with some sort of cold air intake or something. instead of cooling the engine.

i think pable said it right a while ago. 170 or whatever is a good temp for the engine to make more power, but its a bad temp for the oil to be at.

its just a daily driver and i dont want it to get up to 220+ before the fan kicks on.
