A few questions

Im getting ready to order some small stuff from Jegs such as copper header gaskets, Stage 8 locking bolts, and little stuff like that. Ive been having heating problems with my car since i got it, and discovered that its the fan temperature switch that was messed up...actually, it may be the connector. I looked at the black connector that connects to the switch, and it was broken...I can slide it into the switch, but it wont lock. I did ground it however, and the fan turned on. Anyways, should I get one from Hypertech that turns on at a cooler temperature (Part number 533-4028 from Jegs), or stay stock? Also, from the picture, it looks like it comes with both the connector and the switch...is this correct? Also, from the picture, one end connects to the switch, the other is a big clue connector....where is that located? If using a Hypertech one, will I need a new thermostat and chip? The chips are pretty damn expensive. Next question, I wanted to make my fuel pressure reg adjustable....should I do it the free way, or buy the JET one (#561-61500) and will I beable to attach a pressure guage? Thanks for the help.

dont worry about changin it. it does come with both connector and switch, and do it the free way. same results, save 50 bucks.

the fan switch. stock one is fine, if you are gona change it you might have to drain the coolant, i cant remember, i have one but didnt install it because when i tried ( a few years ago) i was stupid then and took out my knock sensor and flooded my eyes with coolant. ya, i was retarded a couple years ago. now i know better. but anyway, just change the connector and save yourself the time. if the conection side on the switch is broken, i guess you might as well get the hypertech, and yes it comes with the the pigtail clip too.
