anyone bored the edelbrock TBI manifold to 2"

I was going to bore the edelbrock TBI manifold from 1 11/16 to 2" but I talked to edelbrock and they said I would Hit the water jackets if I did. I actually want to bore it slightly under 2" (48mm) and wanted to know if anyone had done it.
I gotta run an egr and would prefer to go this route rather than a carb manifold and an adapter.
Anyone know if it can be done cause I wonder if edelbrock is trying to cover their a**.
Thanks....bob

Can't be done...the inside of the throttle bore housing is hollow. the most you might be able to widen it is about 1/8"

Thank you very much guys. I am glad I didn't learn this one the hard way.I understand the old manifolds were 2"bores and they had a tube that went inside the bores that was 1 11/16th. Maybe I can find one of the old ones.
Thanks again on this.....bob
