305 or 454 injectors in 454 tbi? (dant have the 350 ones yet)
until i get my 350 injectors, what shoudl i keep in the 454 throttle body? i got it in the mail today, and i just swapped injector pods and put my old 305 pod on it. that is the way it is now, until i get the 350 injectors. i should have done this, correct? i figured it was better off to be a little lean than a lot rich. what do you guys think?

I was always told it was better to be rich than lean. I'm still confused on why you went ahead and got the 454 TB, what was wrong with the holley?
Also I've been looking into injector size and fuel pumps and I think our engines are going to run lean at WOT. Do you have an aftermarket fuel pump?

Yeah I heard that too, thats why my car ran like crap for what seemed like years. Some people are like chicken littles when it comes to engine tuning and end up neither having their combo to potential and nor preserving it as they thought they were doing (too rich is bad long term aswell) IMHO 90% of cars out there are way too rich as they sit. Im glad i know better now

btw just talking about injectors and pumps to cure your "lean" problem is just predisposing you to having a crappy running car.. thats like 5% of the equation. Its all in the prom. Changing injectors to tune your car is like changing the size of a faucet from 100 gph to 200 gph and still opening that faucet the same amount for the same amount of time. You need control of the handle, not the size of faucet
