2 Hooker O2 Q's

I got a new oxygen sensor at the parts store the other day for my new headers. When I drilled out the hole for it in the headers and then tried to screw it in it didn't. The O2's threads didn't match up with the threads on the Header.

Is there a different one I have to get for the Hooker's? Do a need a heated O2.

I got Hooker Competition headers and my stock o2 fit right in. Not to be insultive, but are you sure the hole is big enough for the tip to fit through?

I got a guy to drill the hole today at the machine shop at work. I'm sure that the hole is big enough, I think it might be a little off center.

The guy measured the threads and said that they were just a little different. I think it might fit alright though, that is when I make the hole a little bigger.

So does yours act ok with the stock type sensor? I'm going to have a gutted cat, so should I get a heated sensor, or will the stock one be alright.
