i thought i was doing a 0-60 run on the g-tech, it didnt shut off when i hit 60, so i went to 75 and it didnt shut off, so i let off the gas and coasted for a second, and all the sudden the gtech flashed 16.7 @73mph. i didnt floor it off the line cuz the road was wet, so i lost time there, and i let off at 60 for a spit second, and then decided maybe the g-techs calibrated wrong and floored it again to 75, let off, and like a second later it flashed that.

i think i could get 15.5 or 15.7 if i were trying and new that i was doin a 1/4 mile

im stock with a hypertech, thats it.
o ya and open element k&N

I'll be shooting out pretty good times in a few months. Only mods will be a cat-back and K&N......ahemnewengine....ahem.... And I'll be a lot faster than I am now 8-). At least, I would hope a 350 HO TBI goes a little faster than a 305 TBI, wouldn't you?

I hope my 350ho TBI goes faster than your 305 TBI! Tim thinks he can beat me, we'll see.
BTW: I did go to the National Trails raceway but they closed because it was raining. I will be going this coming up sunday so I'll have some times on my untuned setup. I need to check the plugs, change oil, and wash her before I go. My friend is brining his digital camcord which he has hooked up to his pc through a firewire setup. So I'll have lots of pictures up and maybe even catch some other thirdgens going down the track.

Pictures would be sweet. How is the 350 ho engine working for you so far? You must notice a substantial difference in the way the car runs.

My best was consistant 15.1@94mph. That was with wheel hop and bad traction. Now I have better springs whcih got rid of the hop, subframe connectors, and better tires.

Mods: Slight port job on the TBI, small port job on heads, hypertech underdrive pulley, flowtech headers, Thermal R&D muffler(stock 2.25" piping), IROC rear end w/3.27 gears.

My best is a 15.86. I have very little mods, but my times seem ok for a TBI w/ auto.

About getting into the mid 14's with all those bolts ons. I have to say high 14's. You'll need 1.6 rockers and some good heads to get into mid 14's. NJ Speeder is a perfect example of what needs to be done to the L03 to make it into the low 14's. He just needs to do a cam swap . Personally I'd like to see him keep the stock cam and get it into the 13's. Considering it's NA, no No2, no S/C, none of that stuff.
The 350 is working good. It feels at least 75% faster than with the Lo3. If you piece it together I did a whole lot. 350 block, vortec heads, RPM intake, 670 holley TB, headers of course. Now I'm looking to get into to 13's before NJ Speeder . I just wish my rear wasn't a 3.08 pegleg steel drive shaft . I hope to race when I go to the track. I don't know if they'll let me since I don't have a muffler. It isn't too loud (giggle), lately it's been giving me a headache with the windows open. I feel like I'm inside a subwoofer box. Borla really screwed up my plans. I won't even get into that until I have a muffler in my hands.
I definatly need a custom chip programmed. I've been looking it over and Pablo has been kind enough (yes Pablo can be a nice guy) to help me out. He might say I b*tch too much but just ask him how he feels about kids with long hair and strange names .
