Looking for Info on Cross-Fire...

Hi, I'm looking for info and photos of the Cross-Fire Fuel Injection. How was the manifold as far as flow is concerned?

thanks

I understand that it flows very well. The biggest weakness was the computer that came with it. Turbo City in Annaheim Ca has had good success using the ecm from the 90-92 speed density tpi with cross fire to make a good reliable system. If you can adapt two two barrel tbi units to the cross fire, you might get even more power. You would need a custom chip to make it work.

its not bad.. the ports on the manifold are small but i think thats decieving.. size of the port doesnt directly relate to flow. There are a bunch of CFI cars running well anyways

CrossFire has the pot.to run ext. well as long as you got a good computer.

I've got some pictures of a crossfire from an 83 Trans Am sitting on one of my servers. It's just some giant raw pictures, no descriptions or info at the moment. Check it out:

For 325 HP the runner is fine, and this is from experience, and not just repeating stuff. I ran mid 13s with mine.

You need to bore the TB to 2"s, use appropriate injectors, cut the EGR tunnel out, and make a 1/4" spacer to get enough plenum.

Then plumb the TB in pararrel, get enough pump, and run a 747
