"Dual Quad" type manifold?
"Dual Quad" type manifold?
Just thinking out loud...
Is there any merit to running a dual "carb" intake manifold with a pair of TBI throttle bodies?
The EBL can deal with it, tuning aside.
It would let you stick a TBI unit over the intake runners instead of making the TBI sit between them and make the fluid flow have to make a turn into the cylinder heads. More direct "shot", less likely for the fuel to fall out of the flow, etc.
Worth a damn other than the bling? It would kind be like a wet stealth ram.

You aren't talking about a crossfire style intake manifold, correct? Rather two tbi units placed side by side, so you'd have 4 injectors placed perperiducular with the arrangement of the cylinders. Or do you mean like a two pack of tb's?

I'm pretty sure he means the latter. That is, a Tunnel Ram (which the HSR is based off of) intake w/two TBI's, one in front of the other...
Some searching found lots of threads on talking how to do it and the EBL site says they can do it...
But has anyone actually tried it?
