cigarette lighter
Hmm dont know where this should go but since i have a 305 TBI, its going here..
All i need to know, is there an easy way to take the cigarette lighter out.. not unplugging it, but taking it out of the plastic bracket.. seems like maybe its glued in or somethin

I have the same problem on a '91 RS. The lighter housing is held in by a chrome "ring" on the front of the plastic dash panel. The ring seems to be press fit into the lighter housing on the back of the panel. I can pry on the assembly and loosen the ring from the housing but can't get it all the way off. Maybe I'm not prying hard enough? I find no nut on the back of the panel to loosen.
Thanks,
Scott

Have you tried to unscrew it. I replaced mine on my 91RS and it unscrewed from the back. If you will look close you will see that the ring I mentioned is as long as the lighter housing it self. Just unscrew it but don't brake it buy trying to pry it off.
