Engine: 5.0L carbed and 5.0L TPI

Transmission: TH700R4

Axle/Gears: 3.23 and 3.27 posi

Hesitation at greater than 1/4 throttle

My '91 RS hesitates or bogs down at anything more than about 1/4 throttle. At about 1/4 throttle, it seems to accelerate pretty well. Whats happening here?

You might need to replace the fuel filter.

Could be a lot of things. Fuel filter as mentioned above, bad plug wires, bad rotor or distributor cap, bad plugs, stopped up cat, bad injector(s), bad tps. Anyone have anymore ideas?

hmmm could be low fuel pressure, maybe your fuel pump is on its way out, cloggy injectors, your egr could be leaking, vacumm leak somewhere- those are fun to find
