My stepsister had this 91 Formula for a while until her boyfriend wrecked it. When speaking with said boyfriend one day, I asked him what engine it had and he replies "305 TBI". I disagree and am pretty sure it'd be a 305 TPI. So now I'm curious. Does anyone know for sure if 3.5 gen Formulas ever came with TBI? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the LO3 was the engine for base model formies.

 

the base engine was a 305 tpi in the formulas, but the LO3 was a common "delete down" option. saved a couple bucks off the sticker price for the buyer. same thing happened to a few t/a's and z28's in 91 and 92.

No, the base engine in the 88-92 Formulas IS the L03 TBI. In 87 it was the LG4.

The base engine for the 90-92 Z28's and Trans Ams is the LB9. Do you have any proof of a TBI in a 90-92 Z28/TA?

Maybe I should call it the 1991 708520 HD-G Formula?
Or the Formula HD-G for short?
