why only 2 cylinders rich?

Can anyone tell me why only 2 cylinders, 1&3 in this case, are running really rich. The 2 plugs are BLACK and gassy smelling. The other six look white to light brown.

The wires are getting plenty of spark to the plugs.

I figured someone could give reasons in general why this would happen. It doesn't make sense.

383 stroker.

Rochester 305 throttle body with 350 injectors.

K&N 3x14 open element.

1 5/8" Hooker shorty headers with dual exhaust.

Custom chip.

you still didn't say what intake you had. I asked because TBI's aren't known for good fuel distribution and if you put it on a 4 barrel carb intake, things susaly don't get better in that area....

I noticed the same thing when I changed my plugs 3 days ago. Only cylinder 1 and 3 plugs were black. The other 6 looked great.

My specs are in my sig. Everything else is stock (including intake).

Any idea what would cause this on my car?

Thomas.
