ok, I'm thinking about building a 406, ultimately it will be going in a 37 sedan, so chrome/polished is cool I've got an 89 tbi 350 motor, harness, and everything to go with it including a 700r4 that I was going to rebuild and put in the 37, but now I've run across this 400 and its got me thinking.

plans, find 454 tbi, buy some aftermarket aluminum vortec heads, 2.02 intake, 1.60 exhaust valves, roller cam lifters, and rockers, aluminum intake, both polished if possible, stainless ram horn street rod headers.

looking to get good torque and hp, not necessarily a high rever, but smooth running engine

any imput on cam, head, intake, and even tbi options would be apreciated
