I do not think you can becuase there is no computer setup for a tbi swap for 2.8 however you migtht be able to do a mfi swap from a later v6.

You could get the tbi setup off a 2.8 s-10. Finding everything at a junkyard should cost more than $100 (if you have reasonable junkyards near you). Then you'd have to buy gaskets and such, but it wouldn't be too hard of swap. You probably won't gain much power, but you'd have better drivability.

you cant always listen to buddies

you have to do what ou want, not what others suggest you should

if the car runs fine how it is then i would leave it be

really.

save yourself lots of time and $$$ and headache
if they want ot see your car be a TBI one then maybe they should buy the car off you and then they can attempt it

good luck

If you decide to F.I. it, I would at least get a more modern ECM/PCM, otherwise, like stated above, it's not really worth it.

Better yet, explore non-OEM options. Such as www.megasquirt.info

I own a MSII/V3.0 and it is currently running my TBI(prev. carb) Camaro.
