I am going to do a 305TBI to 350TBI swap, I have talked to several people that have done it, and have gotten some really good info on it, what PROM and injectors to use. my biggest question is what cam to run. this is the setup i will be running.
89 bird with 350TBI, cleaned up stock 350 heads with flat tops around 9:1 compression, 1 5/8 hedders, 3 inch exhaust, TH700R4 with stock convertor, and vette servo, stock rear gear, 2.73 i assume. stock intake and throttle body(with bigger injectors)for the time being, would like to go with edelbrock intake and holley 670 TB. i would like around 300hp, the car is daily driven, thats why i want to make sure the cam isnt to big. I was looking at the comp cam 268xtreme cam, but thought that might be to big, so the 262xtreme looks better. any suggestions appreciated. thanks guys
