Well I am sure you have seem my numerout timing posts well after trying several times now the car has slowly quit all together.. I get a little sputter when I crank the key and then nothing. I just put in a new module in the dist. and have a custom fastchip.....WOW I need help.

Somehow the distrib walked (don't know how) and so I just retarded it a little. Now the car starts right up and idle is back to normal. THANK YOU Judd Porter!

I am disapointed to hear that the module wasn't the problem, but you know it was going bad anyways from the testing! SO after its running its just one less thing to worry about.

I agree with the above post to try your old PROM and see if it runs. I am sure it wont be smooth and I would definately say the computer will not like that LT4 cam, though if it runs better you know its the Chip. What you need to do is get JPrevost down and see if hes got a custom chip in his, if so just switch ECMs. Like what Chris Payton did with my Escort to find out if his ECM was bad. Then if it runs well its the ECM.

Another thought it to try cleaning the COntacts with some electrical spray. IF that doesn't help call fastchip and see what they say about the problem.
I would have called you to check you progress, but I have been soooooo busy with Finals that I cant wait to have them over with tomorrow!
