Headers

I just got my camaro and Im cutting off my cat and putting on a 3inch pipes. I was thinking I should upgrade my headers. What would be the biggest bang for the buck on new headers? And where would I get them?

Well best bang for ur buck would be Edelbrock TES Headers #6872 or I think Hooker makes a good set of headers for cheaper than Edelbrock. But if u want to go all out, coat the headers and if u want to go more, get SLP headers and coat them too. But make sure the Y-pipe collector is gonna be 3" if ur gonna have 3" straight pipe all the way back. I am running the setup u are talking about right now and I like it a lot.

I just got a set of Dynomax headers that are Ceramic coated (inside and out) and have a nice chrome look that dont burn off. (came with the O2 tubes for the smog crap too)

219.00 from summit.

on the iroc i have now and the prervious one i had, i have hedman shorties. i've been very satisfied w/ them. the first set came off soon after installation because of the rust, etc. the other two sets have been jet hot coated and i've had no problems w/ either. when i got rid of the first iroc (doh!), the headders still looked new. whatever brand you decide on, be sure to get them coated, unless they already are. you'll LOVE the difference in sound and feel especially

Ok now I know to get them Coated... I think I have the setup in my mind and was wandering if this sounded good.... Before I get my headers im getting from my catco back done... The cat I have(stock) is that high flow? IF it is i don't need to cut it off(or new). so now I'm thinking of 3in either

into a y pipe off the cat into two mufflers....

Or from the cat with one 3in pipe to empty out before the passanger rear tire...

Someone was taling about backflow but I didn't think I need to worry about it becuase of the cat.... which would be the best Setup for street racing?

Future mods. Spark plug wires and plugs, tint, Cutting off cat and new 3inch pipes. Maybe putting 2 glass paks for effect. any other advise on getting to 300+ HP would be appreciated. Thanks
