Alcohol injection

Anybody know how to make a setup for Tbi? I've heard it's not as good as the nitrous but also not anywhere near as damaging or exspensive.

The whole point of adding Nitrous is the oxygen it carries, combine that with more fuel and you have more power. Alcohol doesn't have that effect. Also, it contains less energy than gasoline so you need alot more alcohol to make the same power. The bonus of alcohol is that it runs cooler. But, in the winter an alcohol car won't start very easy--or just won't start.
Dumping alcohol into a gas burning engine like nitrous won't get you any power.

Custom 3 inch single into 2 2.5 pipes. 1 1/2 drop springs, 1 5/16 solid front sway bar, 1 inch rear bar, custom subframe connectors, custom LCA relocation brackets. Kobel ground FX, current red metallic paint. Lots of other stuff...

Alcohol requires different jettings and different timing. You have to get a carb that is set up to run alcohol. It does run cooler but is not at all practical as a power adder or for street use.

If you lookup info on E85 (85% ethanol, 15% gasoline) fuel you gain around 15% on HP and loose about 10% on mileage. It is rated between 102 and 110 octain.
It dose run cooler and is a problem in the winter. It will also corrode some older type parts, so the fuel system needs to be reworked. Ford used the its Super Stallion Mustang as a test bed for E85 and jumped from 440 HP to 480 HP by just switching from gas to E85. Ford now sells "Flex-Fuel" Rangers and Taurus' and Chevy is going to make its entire truck like gas/E85 campatable.

the reason i posted this was because ive talked to someone that uses it an he gained .4-.6 sec on his et. The thing I didn't know was that he had 2 turbos and can now run 16psi on the turbos thats why he got such a boost in power. Not many doge stealths i've seen that run low 12's in the 1/4

I believe you are talking about a water injection system with alcohol. The benefit is in suppression of knock/detonation. The more boost or compression you run the better it would work. It allows for more timing.
