prolly do the exhaust, then the suspension/chassis(tires, torque arm.....), then fuel pump, head/cam/intake all together if possible, then get a custom prom done to match the new combo.
if you go in this order the rest of the car will be ready for the power of the new engine.

Now that you mention it... I haven't really been messing with the suspention.. If you could fill me in.. You mean like sway bars and Such... I was always under the impression that we had really good suspentions.. what all needs to be upgraded? thx

'92 RS's have awesome rims and tires. why mess with them?? just get some bigger drag radials in back. go for the sleeper look
Most effective order of buildup:
Open element

heads and headers
(Putting stock exaust manifolds on new heads is a waste of time and energy. If you pull the heads make sure to put headers on too.)

Cool thanks.. dont need a catback though... question on the OE... I was looking at the current intake setup... where the air comes in before it reaches the filter theres a tube in the path or whatever its called... when putting on an Open element.. I dont see a place for that.. what do you do with it?

Are you talking about the metal tube that comes off of the exhaust manifold? If so, thats not really needed, actually that is only good if it is really cold outside. I think it is called a heat stove, what it does is it warms up the air before it goes into the engine so that the engine heats up faster. The problem is, when it's 100 degrees outside, who needs HOTTER air going into the intake? Thats just 1 of the many reasons to get an open element.

It's not actually a hole in the exhaust manifold. It is a whole in the heat shield of the exhaust manifold. Start with little stuff and work your way up. Things that are in the same area do together to save money and time.
