NOS for 305TBI

Is there an exact make for our engine. And how much do they cost. I ran a 15.4 w/ open element and Flowmaster Muffler. What do you think a 75hp shot would get me in the 1/4 Thanks

I know about every major Manufacturer of Nitrous makes a kit for the TBI 305. If you look in summit or JEGS there is a Nitrous Works or Nitrous Express kit for the 305/350 TBI with HP jets of 50/75/100 (i think I do not have my book right here with me). I would expect somewhere around a second or a little more improvement in the 1/4.

(yeah I know its a truck, but you are the best TBI guys I have found)
Performance
**Somewhere around a 17.0 @ 85 ish (G-Tech)
*Freshly rebuilt 305 bored +0.030 over (311)
*K&N Airfilter
*Homemade Ramair w/ modified intake
*180 thermostat
*Custom True dual exhaust(Flowmaster 40's)No Cat's
*TD Performance TBI Spacer
*Mobil 1 10-w30
*Redline Water Wetter
**(alot more done, but I don't feel like boring everybody)

Yes they do make kits for the LO5/LO3.. NOS kit is very nice, a friend of mine just hooked that up, hasn't used it yet though.

I read in PHR mag. that they put a kit on a F-Bird with a 305 TPI. I know it's not a TBI but they picked up 1.3 seconds with the same tires. They said that the tires spun quite a bit. That was a 125hp shot, I think.

And like Keith asked, are you sure you're running a L03? If I could get mine to do that I would never use NOS. What else have you done to the engine, if anything?

Hey guys, I do have a 305TBI, with an open element and Flowmaster Muffler, the car is burning a little oil and still running VERY strong. Its an Automatic as well. I think I might forget about the NOS andGet some heads to fix my valve seal problems. Thanks guys
