Bad gas mileage...I need professional advice
It seems like right when I got the car I was getting 18-19 mpg, but now its 16-17. Needless to say Im not happy.
I added an open element K&N, TES headers, gutted cat, flomaster cat back, 160* t-stat, 3 core radiator, Stage 2 fastchip, MSD helicore 8mm wires, new O2 sensor and the plugs seemed to look fine. Also when installing my headers I damaged the temperature sensor on the passenger side head(I pulled it out and I bent the metal tip sticking out of the sensor in the head, but it still hooks up though)
My car does run kind of cool, but the fastchip says it needs a 160* t-stat. Usually when I have AC on it is right above the 1/4 notch on the gauge. Without the air the car runs a little hotter.
The car runs real strong but it seems to be lacking gas mileage. What do you think I should do or check?

get a scantool. thats almost the only way to find any problems if the car is running good but getting bad milage. could be that temp sense but doubt it. try o2 readings too and check your plugs for rich condition
