IS there a way to manually lean out a TBI for better MPG?

I was thinking it would be good if I could set it up for lean so I would not waste gas and when I need the power put it back to normal?

Is this possible?

interesting... possibly a 2 chip board with a switch or lift your foot up When I don't have my foot on it it gets real good milage, but tooling around makes the needle drop like a rock.

Yes, Jet makes a switchable chip to limit the revs, etc. It is not reactive to the throttle position sensor or any outside variables to determine that you want the power when you move you foot. You would have to turn the key on the switch to tell it what program you want, and that needs to be done with the engine off. Yeah, Tas when I can keep my damn foot off the pedal I get great mileage. I have not esimated it, just know it is o.k. based on how many times a week I pull in to the gas station. But put my foot in it, and you can watch the gauge go down for sure. But, I am not complaining one bit, it still is not that bad. Not as good tpi/mpfi but better than a monster carb.
