Self-aligning AND narrow-bodied to fit under the center-bolt valve covers...

Maybe i should also throw in to the ring that i am running the Vortec Heads...would that change anything? I can see now that these are the self-ailing ones, however are they still the narrow-bodied as well?

should be same. Are you using stock vortecs? If you are getting them worked on(modified) you might as well have guideplates installed. That will make you rockers much cheaper. But see how much it is to see if the cost is worth it.
