I just bought a 1988 formula firebird and i was wondering what your guys' opinions were of what i should do for adding more performance to this car. Everything is stock except for the exhause which is dual and it has the ws6 racing suspension other than that its in perfect condition and fully original

TPI or TBI? Once I know that I'll move it to the correct board.

How do you tell the difference? TBI is throttle body injection right? I don't think it's that because mine is fuel injected but i'm not sure what TPI is. Sorry for the confusion. I'm fifteen and this is my first car so i don't know very much

TBI has a carb-style air cleaner, TPI has the long, narrow aluminum piece, with the curved legs on the side.

Okay avsfan151933, I'm going to move this to the TBI board then. There's some good people over there.
