custom eproms
Thank you guys for helpin me with my question the other day.
Got another one for ya.
Where can I get a custom chip made for a 1988 camaro TBI. I would like it to raise the top speed limiter, and try to dump a little more fuel. But not mess with the timing at all. WHO SHOULD I CALL?! And what is the average cost of something like this.

Since you too are blessed with an '88 TBI you also have the 8063 ECU. Poor soul. The 8063's were only used in 1988 and, as far as I know, no do-it-yourselfers have the information necessary to burn the chips for these. You might be able to swap over to a 7747 or 8746 ECU so you could do it yourself (or have another amateur burn one for you). I couldn't ever get the swap to work so I ended up forking over $300 to Ed Wright at Fast Chip for my custom PROM.
