The computer you got was a TPI computer. Your part number is 1228063 for TBI motor. Get that computer changed and go from there.

https://www.thirdgen.org/promintro at the very bottom of the page is the list of ECM's and all pertinent information to them. They might take an exchange. I've seen a lot of people just see the TXI and assume the X is P or B. It's happened but these are two ENTIRELY different fuel injections. Hope you get your ECM exchanged.

I knew I was wrong so I double checked... This is your ECM number 1228063. Uses basically the same components except the ECM is different obviously, and the Mask ID or Calibration ID is different.

Your current Prom, (ECM Chip) probably isn't capable of fueling the 355. The fuel pressure should be high enough to flow enough fuel for the higher horsepower motor than the stock. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tbi/...free-tune.html This thread will help immensely. I'm not sure that is the right ECM though. I've edited my previous posts to show 1228063 as the part number. I'm not sure on the differences or even if a 1228746 computer will interchange with no problem.

Everything I've read here has contradicted what I've experienced with vats. When vats thinks someone is stealing the car, it won't even crank. Other people say the injectors won't fire. If it's vats your car wouldn't even crank over. I'm at a loss as to what the problem could be.
