Easiest/best way to get 350 TBI from an LO3 car...
I tried the motor swap board, and was referred back here...what are my options for an emissions-legal 350 TBI? I wanted the GM Crate 330HP from SDPC, but the response on the motor swap board said something about not even hardly emissions legal due to crossover somethingorothers in the heads...help, guys - I want a 350, but I dig TBI...what are the options? Oh - I'm poor, too. Thanks!

there are some 350s at www.sdpc2000.com You can get a L05 from a Capriece. The heads aren't that good. You can get a ZZ4 shortblock and get some Trick Flow 23* heads. www.trickflow.com

Was he able to finally pass emissions?
Look for a truck motor. Stock with 210 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. The torque comes in fast and runs out faster with stock heads and intake, but is simple to bump up.
