I do not know if I can post this here but,
If you take the air pump of your car, would you fail a emissions test. I just moved to AZ and my formula does not have a air pump on it at all. Would it fail. I need to now asap?

 

It will make the cat far less effective anyway... Even if you pass the sniffer portion if you have visual inspections too, you'll fail that part for sure.

 

Do you think I will pass the sniffer. I found the air pump but no other things that are on the pump. The big question is will it pass the sniffer

 

The only way to know for sure is to have it tested. Best bet is to go to a junkyard to get the parts you need (hoses, diverter valve, etc). You could try decreasing the fuel pressure a bit too. Good luck.
