Can anyone tell me how long it will take the BLM to re-learn my driving habits and my engine after resetting the computer???? Per "How To Tune & Modify Chevrolet Fuel Injection" by Ben Watson -"After each start-up, the Block Learn will be programmed with the readings it had the last time the engine ran. As a result a repair made while the engine is shut off may cause a driveability problem until the Block Learn reporgrams to the repaired engine."
Since I have been changing things and then re-setting the computer, is it possible that I'm not letting the car run and drive long enough to re-learn the way I have it set up????
The vFPR mod was working great. Then I switched springs and when the car starts up cold now it hunts for an idle. The idle will go up and down about 300RPMs. Then it will go into closed loop and smooth out for the most part. If the car is good and hot, after driving for 20 mintues or more on the highway, the car will idle smooth as silk.
Thoughts anyone?
