What flowrate are these injectors?

It says 17094060 on it, and the color codes are pink and purple.

This guy says it came on a crate motor he bought, he shelved it (I presume he just wanted to carb it?) and this unit is basically brand new and never used.

Seems like it would be a good unit, but if I cant figure out what flowrate these things are, it's gonna be useless to me.

This thread mentions them, https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/diy-...light=17094060

"I did a lookup for the injector for a 1995 454 TBI from a C3500 pickup, but it did not list 17104288 as one of the GM part numbers...it only listed 17094060, 17113080 and 17113094."

But that post is from 2003, and whatever he found on the site he linked, I couldnt replicate it. And knowing it was from a 95 454 C3500 doesnt really narrow it down much for me since http://www.diy-efi.org/gmecm/compone...injectors.html lists two different injector serial numbers for 454 TBI's and neither of them match what this one is, nor do the color codes match. IM not sure if 1995 would be a "Late big block pickup" or a "big block pickup" either... If you guys knew that, I could narrow it down by cross referencing the diy-efi.org page...

Any of you guys know what these are?

Re: What flowrate are these injectors?

46 lbs/hr @ 11 psi, 75 lbs/hr @ 29 psi

They came in my Marine TBI unit as well but with the regulator set at 29 psi.

Re: What flowrate are these injectors?

Wow! Thanks!

So how would you calculate the flowrates for other fuel pressures?

The actual formula is the old volume multiplie by the square root of the new pressure minus the old pressure.

46 x SQRT(29-11)=75

Re: What flowrate are these injectors?

corrected formula:

newRating = oldRating*sqrt(newPressure / oldPressure )

It was late when I posted that and honestly did not want to think about it in equation format. Thank you for the corrections. Accurate info is always a plus
