There is an article in GM High-Tech Performance, (unfortunately I do not have it with me this second)of a guy with an 86 Z28 Camaro running a 427 with a 1650cfm Kinsler TBI with 36lb/hr injectors. Pretty nice stuff. He just broke into the 9 second range N/A. He has lots of compression but plans to lower it to add turbo boost to go even lower. After work (late tonight :< ) I will get more details.

 

Are you sure it's not a <Throttle Body> with 8 direct port fuel injectors? This would be an SMPFI or MPFI like Holley's four barrel projection units (not the 670).

They made no mention of 8 injectors or any form of MPFI. It is a K&N O.E with an xstream lid ontop of a 1650 cfm Kinsler Throttle Body. Seems massive. I looked at the picture and it was too small to tell for me.
