Intake install problems PLEASE HELP??

Ok i got the right gasket fianlly and got the intake installed. However the car seems th eidel smooth and then almost stall out and then rev back to an idle. What is causing this. i almost hear a little popping sound out of the exhaust when when that hesitation happens. Aslo there is a little pinging in the motor when I get on the gas at about 1500 rpm. What is this. I am very frustrated. Also I seem to be leaking oil from somewhere. I can't trace it but I have a bad fealing that there is not enough RTV sealant to keep the oil in. I used a 3\16" bead like the instrusctions said but when I took the stock one off it had a real think bead on there. Please help what is causing my problems. I don't want to have to take it all apart.

a little pinging in the motor when I get on the gas at about 1500 rpm sounds like base timeing and it is to far advanced bring it back a little and remember to unhook the brown wire when you do that
