Ive decided to swap a 350 into my 92 RS w/ a 305 TBI.. I am planning on keeping the TBI setup. I am going to get the LO5 engine to keep the cost down now. What all will I need for this swap? I am thinking bigger injectors(55Lb?), new computer chip.. anything else? Knock sensor? I already have an edelbrock manifold and headers and I assume I can reuse them for the 350. I am planning on getting a new water pump though. Should I get new motot mounts, and if so, poly ones? I am just trying to get as complete a list of what I will need as possible.. So, what can I reuse, and what do I have to get? Does the LO5 from sdpc come with a flexplate? Thanks!

 

well you have to get a new knock sensor and you can reuse your flexplate and i dont know about the injectors i just got a holley and all the old ederbrock stuff will work and yuo might want to consider a costom prom

I have a list of parts needed when doing a 350 swap and keeping TBI. As for the poly motor mounts, it's up in the air. They're fine but if you can get GM units for less, do it. There is a true chevy guy that has a 900hp 70 Yenko Nova and using AC Delco parts all over (oil filter and rubber motor mounts). He's used them for countless years and races once a week at Englishtown.
