This is in pesonse to your message that you put on the other board. I say try it, bu tmake sure that you buy the pressure saftey switch from NOS. for like 30 bucks its a great investment for peice of mind. I have one on mine with the 100 hp shot and would not be scared to run 125. (might do it).
If the system cycles and wot like its turning on and off, or doesent turn on at all. THen take the time to drop the tank. Sounded like a huge pain in the but to me. I am howver making less hp than you with motor, and have heard the the stock pump will only support like just over 400. So ur pry pushin it.

I have a really good feeling that my fuel pump is on it's way out. This weekend I'm going to do some plug cuts to check to make sure the car is starving up top. If it is then I know it's got to be my fuel pump and I'll attach a fuel pressure guage so I can see it from within the car. If that conferms it then the pump will be replaced with a walbro either 190 of 255 low pressure pump.

I went with the 255lph Walbro pump because I only want to do that job once. My car is still rather stock but I am getting it prepared for the vortec swap.
