how much money do you have to spend, and how "good" are you with working on cars? that will mean a LOT as far as what mods to do next.
i would definitley get an open element first. it was the first mod i ever did to my car. cheap too.

I would start out small first. Don't do real big mods just yet if u don't really know much about cars yet. Read posts in here and learn about our TBI mods. Start out small to learn about ur engine and how things work. Start with an open element and move on to maybe the ignition and do wires/plugs and then maybe coil and dist. cap/rotor, and so on. I made a site specificaly for new people that want to learn how to mod their 305 TBI's. I have part numbers, pictures, installation instructions and Do's and Don'ts. Its the second site in my signature. Check it out sometime and e-mail me any questions u have about it. Good luck and have fun.

yeah eric is right...start small, and work to the big stuff. i am really good with tools and working with my hands (no jokes eric
) so working on my car kind of came naturally to me. like i said, i started out with an open element air cleaner, and i didnt know crap about my car. last year i put a new motor in...it will all come with time. just be patient and learn everything you can before doing any mod.
as far as mods go, its hard to say. i woudl love to tell yo to get headers, but that may be a little too much just yet. kina along the lines of what eric said...give the car a complete tuneup. change the plugs (pain in the a$$ but you will learn a lot), change the fuel filter, change the cap and rotor, chek the timing...stuff like that builds and builds.
and, any questions, let us know.

Definatly do a tune up if you don't know what has and hasn't been done recently. After that, call up Summit Racing and order a 14" drop base air cleaner for $15 or $20, I forget the price now, always changes. After than, think about doing some of the free mods from the tech articles (link is on the main page).
Since you said money isn't an issue.....get a 450+hp mighty mouse (small block chevy) and slap that in with some form of DFI or get a pro to tune any intake system you want.
Really though, it's all about how fast you want to spend....and go.
