Will my stock dist from my old 91 305 TBI motor work on my brother's 89 non-computer carb car? The stock tbi computer is still in the 89,just the injector harness and a few sensors aren't hooked up becuase of the carb swap,of course.

No it will not. It does not have any advance system other than the computer. the computer will not advance it correctly without having map and tps hooked up(this would be with a special spark only cal). Get a dist from 75-80 sbc. Wire in the power and tach and you should be good.
