I swapped a 305 for an 350,I wanted to know will i need to change the little black chip prom for one out of caprice or the whole silver box,and will it matter what year of caprice 350 i get the chip out of, and as far as injectors is those specific or can i just order them for a 350??

 

im about to do the same thing i got a whole puter from a tbi truck,just make sure the puter you get is not for a 4l60 tranny,unless you have one too,also on the injectors i got a tbi form a 350 the 350 injectors are bigger again i would suggest to get some for a tbi truck with a 350...good luck...Steve

 

Not sure about the computer but I tried using chips from a caprice when I did my swap and none of them worked, reg, police, or import chip. I'd recc trying on from a 350 tbi truck. best of luck
