Should I advance my timing to 6*?

From: Davison / Troy ,Michigan
Car: 1991 Pontiac Firebird
Engine: 3.8
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: Dana 60
Should I advance my timing to 6*?
Or should I just leave it at 4* advance like I have it now? I use 93 octane every time anyways and will I notice a bigger difference if I go from 4 to 6? thanks. I am racing this weekend I want the car to be all tuned and ready to go.
