a friend of mine wanted me to post this for him , he has a mighty 92 rs l03 and he picked up a set of ported 305 tpi heads. they are the new bolt pattern 87-92. is there going to be any problems connecting them to thte edelbrock tbi intake?? I told hime i really did think so but he want some more opions.

Any great performance improvment?

 

well we havent put them on yet but tpi heads flow better the the crappy tbi heads so i would assume they would prob be a bit of an improvement. does anyone have flow numbers on a set of 87-92 305 tpi heads vs L03 heads??

 

TPI heads are much better. They have better sparkplug placement and no swirl port wall to block the intake port.

The intake bolt patterns on 88-92 305 TBI heads and 87-92 305 TPI heads are identical. They'll bolt right up.
