cpr? i need some air to my engine, i have the edelbroke pro flow peice and its taking paint off the top of my hood from how close it is to it. from the design of it, it takes all of the air from the top of it and right now my hood is sitting on top of it and i am not getting any at all, just wondering what you guys suggestions are. i had a normal open element on top of it but i could not close my hood so somehow that convinced me to get rid of it.
yes, yes i am going to eventually get a cowel induction hood, but dont have that kind of $$ now

 

you should have been told not to use that crappy thing in the first place. Its made of foam and will break up and fall in your engine. Get a non drop base open element.

lol, i wish but it will not work tas :P jprovest has the same problem as me right now and has the same peice under his hood. i have my hood jacked up about 1/4 of a inch in the back to make the little peice of **** to fit

 

cut and paste http://members.tripod.com/GRK_Taz/caddytbi.jpg get one of these things for the TBI top and put a conical filter on the end.

i just though of something, you know the things for Centrifugal super chargers the lid things that goes over the tbi, i have seen a pick before and what i can remember they look pretty low profile and maybe that would work, i could run a tube on the side of my engine and make some kind of ram air i dont know i will look into it
