im trying to put headers in, how do i move it aside, or lower it or whatever you do,

From what I hear you dont "move" it. You have to drop it. If you slide up the plastic sheild on it by the steering box you will see a bolt, unscrew that and it and you will be able to take out that piece. That should give you enough room.
