It was a smell like burning plastic, and what looked like steam coming out from under the air cleaner lid. I took the lid off and there was all this smelly smoke pouring out of the TBI. It eventually burned itself off and never affected the way the car ran. I haven't touches the TBI in months, I have no idea what happened.

after i put antifreez in my car today, i neglected to put the cap on, oops and when i started up the car and reved it, antifreeze everywehere, smoke everywhere ahhhh

What type air filter do you have? If its an Edelbrock pro-flow (triangular with sponge filter) then it could've back fired and briefly ignited or scorched the filter media.

It a K&N filter in the stock air cleaner setup. (Yeah, I know open element coming soon.)

How could antifreeze get into the TBI?

It hasn't done it since. Oh well. Maybe some sort of critter crawled in there or something.

theres a hose that goes into and out of the intake manifold, was it comming right from the tbi, ok ill shut up, im stupid

When my car was running rich and I mean RICH (just ask BlackBird 305)it would smoke when I opened the Blades up on the TB. Check in to that.
